Licensed Psychologist

Join our clinical team! We currently have immediate openings for NYS Licensed Psychologist to join our practice at a skilled nursing facilities located in Dobbs Ferry and Hastings-on-Hudson.

Requirements:

Must have doctorate in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, neuropsychology, or health psychology Must have NYS license in psychology Experience and training in geriatric psychology, neuropsychology, and/or health psychology is a plus but not a requirement

Responsibilities:

Evaluate, diagnose and provide treatment to patients with varied mental health needs in a culturally sensitive, professional and ethical manner. Challenging issues that our psychologists encounter with long-term care patients include adjustment to change, compliance with care and medication, anxiety, depression, compulsive behavior, isolation and withdrawal, and low self-evaluation Collaborate with treatment teams and other related service providers to assure continuity of care Present in-service trainings to other clinical disciplines within the facility to optimize patient outcomes Benefits we offer: Flexible schedules, with no on-call, night, or weekend requirements Exceptional fee-for-service or salaried compensation.
