Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This position offers an opportunity to provide specialized psychological services within a dynamic K-12 school setting in New York, NY. The role involves working with diverse student populations to support academic, social, and emotional success through assessments, interventions, and collaboration with educational teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-person psychological assessments and evaluations for K-12 students. Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to contribute professional insights and support student-centered planning. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, counselors, and other support staff to develop and implement effective strategies tailored to student needs. Manage a flexible caseload that may vary based on changing school requirements. Travel between multiple school locations as needed to provide consistent support.Qualifications and Experience:
Degree in School Psychology or related field; new graduates are encouraged to apply. Strong ability to adapt to shifting caseloads and varying demands. Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams. Experience or willingness to conduct assessments and participate in IEP meetings.
