Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time School Psychologist position is available within a school district located in Schenectady, NY. This role involves providing psychological services across multiple school sites, covering grade levels K-12. The assignment is contract-based, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the school year. Key responsibilities include managing a districtwide caseload with a focus on conducting Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings. Additional duties involve performing psychological testing and other related functions to support student evaluations and educational planning.
Qualifications and Experience:
Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting Familiarity with CSE meeting procedures and special education regulations Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals Ability to manage multiple school sites and coordinate caseload efficiently
