High School Elementary School Psychologist in Akron, OH Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Akron, OH Job Details Full-time | Contract 15 hours ago Qualifications Practicing as a school psychologist Psychology of education Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. This full-time, contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year is ideal for dedicated school psychologists ready to contribute their expertise within a collaborative setting near Akron, OH.
Qualifications:
Active and valid school psychologist licensure for the state Experience working in schools preferred (elementary, middle, and/or high school settings) Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with educators, students, and families Commitment to ethical standards and best practices in school psychology Ability to assess student needs and implement appropriate interventions Organizational skills to manage caseloads across diverse age groups
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments to support student learning and well-being Provide direct and consultative services to students across elementary, middle, and high school populations Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized educational and behavioral plans Assist with crisis intervention and offer support in the creation of safe and inclusive learning environments Contribute to data-driven decision making and progress monitoring Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with school and state policies
