Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make an impact in an educational setting by providing essential psychological services to elementary students. This full-time contract role focuses on supporting K-4 learners with a caseload of approximately 50 students, spanning 3 buildings. The position is scheduled to begin in the middle of August, offering an excellent opportunity for those passionate about child development and school-based mental health.
Required Qualifications:
Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Previous experience working with K-4 students preferred Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills Effective communication abilities with students, staff, and families Familiarity with special education processes and multidisciplinary team collaboration
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for referred students Interpret assessment results and participate in eligibility meetings Provide direct and indirect counseling and intervention services for students Collaborate with teachers and staff to address academic, emotional, and behavioral needs Support Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and assist with development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Consult with parents and families regarding student progress and strategies for success Travel between three buildings as needed to provide timely support This role invites you to work within a cooperative environment, making a positive difference in the lives of young learners.
