Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a significant impact by supporting the academic, social, and emotional growth of young learners as a School Psychologist on a full-time contract assignment. This opportunity is perfect for passionate professionals excited to collaborate across three schools, primarily engaging with K-4 students. With a manageable caseload of approximately 50 students, you'll have the chance to form meaningful connections and provide comprehensive psychological services. The assignment is slated to begin in the middle of August, ensuring a fresh start with the new school year.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Valid School Psychologist certification Previous school-based experience, especially with K-4 populations Understanding of special education processes, including IEP development and implementation Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills Excellent communication abilities with students, educators, and families Organizational skills to manage services across multiple buildings
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological and educational assessments for students referred for services Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement intervention strategies Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and recommend supports Maintain accurate documentation related to evaluations, interventions, and services provided Support crisis intervention efforts and deliver individual or group counseling as needed Contribute to positive school climates within each assigned building This is your opportunity to deliver meaningful services in a role where your expertise directly enhances students' school experiences.
