Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting elementary students as a School Psychologist for the upcoming school year. This full-time, contract opportunity offers 37.5 hours per week, focused on delivering essential psychological services within an elementary school setting. You'll become a key resource for evaluations, observations, and contributing to student success through involvement in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings. What you'll bring to the role: Current and valid Ohio School Psychologist certification Experience working with elementary-aged students (preferred) Strong assessment, evaluation, and observation skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families Commitment to equitable support for diverse learners Excellent communication and organizational abilities Your daily responsibilities will include: Performing comprehensive evaluations for students at the elementary level Participating actively in IEP meetings and developing student plans Observing and assessing student needs within classroom environments Providing consultative support to teachers and families Offering recommendations for interventions or services Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and district requirements In addition to making a direct difference for students, eligible professionals in this contract position will earn between $45/hr and $55/hr.
