Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Embark on an impactful career opportunity as a School Psychologist, making a difference across multiple schools for the 2026/2027 academic year. This full-time itinerant contract role spans 35 hours per week, serving students from kindergarten through twelfth grade within three different districts. Your expertise will play a crucial role in the assessment, development, and support of students, collaborating closely with educators, administrators, and families to nurture student success.
What You'll Bring:
Active, valid Ohio School Psychologist certification Proven experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations for students K-12 Strong knowledge of special education law and best practices Exceptional communication and report-writing skills Ability to thrive in an itinerant role, providing support at multiple district locations Collaborative approach to working with school staff, administration, and parents
Your Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive evaluations to identify students' academic, behavioral, and emotional needs Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings, offering insights and recommendations tailored to each student Consult with teachers and school personnel to help develop targeted interventions Maintain detailed documentation and records in accordance with district and state guidelines Build positive relationships with parents, ensuring open communication related to student progress and services Eligible candidates may receive a pay rate between $45 and $55 per hour, along with access to healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
