Yesterday Job Description The Big Walnut Local School District is seeking a school psychologist to begin with the start of the 2026.2027 school year. This position is located within the Big Walnut Schools, and will be hired through the ESC of Central Ohio. We seek an individual who is organized, efficient, and self-motivated. The successful candidate must have excellent communication and collaboration skills, demonstrated experience as a child advocate, and experience with MTSS. Additional responsibilities include conducting initial evaluations and triennial re-evaluations, collaborating formally and informally with teachers and instructional staff to develop research-based instructional and behavioral practices and interventions; ensuring that policies and procedures are adhered to, and supporting the administration and building staffs in the district's MTSS implementation.Minimum Qualifications:
Valid school psychology license and certificate from the professional board and the Ohio Department of Education Current and clear BCI/FBI background checksDesired Qualifications:
Training and/or experience in Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports (MTSS) Experience conducting and/or facilitation of data team meetings Experience in designing and implementing interventions to studentsSalary:
215-Day contract Salary commensurate with experience and in accordance with ESCCO salary scheduleReports To:
