Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by supporting their social, emotional, and academic growth in a dynamic educational setting. This contract role offers the opportunity to apply your expertise as a School Psychologist at an intermediate school, connecting with students, educators, and families to foster a supportive and thriving learning environment.
Key Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure for Ohio Experience or familiarity with conducting evaluations, assessments, and IEP development Strong understanding of evidence-based interventions and crisis response techniques Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with staff and families Ability to efficiently manage a caseload of 40-50 students in one building Dedication to cultural competency and student advocacy
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for students Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Deliver targeted, data-driven interventions to address students' unique learning and behavioral needs Provide consultation and collaboration to teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Participate in team meetings, evaluations, and ongoing professional development Support a healthy school climate through prevention, early intervention, and crisis management This is a full-time contract position beginning August 24, 2026, and continuing through June 7, 2027, with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours.
