Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting K-12 students by providing essential psychological services in an engaging school environment. This contract opportunity invites dedicated School Psychologists to work full-time (with consideration for part-time schedules) serving a diverse caseload across K-12th grades. In this itinerant role, you'll move between schools, conducting thorough evaluations, participating in IEP meetings, and working closely with teachers, staff, parents, and students to foster an inclusive and supportive educational atmosphere. As a School Psychologist, your expertise in assessment, consultation, and intervention will ensure all students receive the support they need to thrive academically, emotionally, and socially. Your collaboration skills will be vital in completing evaluations, interpreting results, and developing actionable recommendations that align with each student's unique strengths and challenges.
Qualifications:
Valid Ohio School Psychologist Certification (required) Experience or comfort working with K-12 student populations Strong knowledge of conducting psychoeducational evaluations and assessments Familiarity with IEP processes and state and federal regulations Effective communicator when working with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
Complete comprehensive evaluations for students across K-12th grade Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings Travel between school sites as an itinerant provider Collaborate with staff, families, and students to develop educational strategies Maintain accurate records and adhere to all confidentiality guidelines This contract position offers competitive hourly compensation from $45 to $53, with eligible candidates also offered healthcare benefits, housing, and a stipend for meals and incidentals.
