Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary and middle school students as a School Psychologist in a vibrant educational setting on a contract basis. This opportunity runs from January through May 26th, 2027, and offers scheduling flexibility with both full-time and part-time availability. In this vital role, you'll collaborate with educators and families to foster a positive and supportive learning environment for students. You'll be central to the assessment and intervention process, using your expertise to help identify student needs and guide decision-making.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Ohio School Psychologist certification (required) Experience working with elementary and middle school populations preferred Strong background in writing Evaluation Team Reports (ETRs) Excellent assessment, observation, and testing skills Familiarity with Response to Intervention (RTI) processes Effective communicator, comfortable participating in meetings with multidisciplinary teams Detail-oriented and committed to best practices in school psychology
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct student observations and administer psychoeducational testing Complete comprehensive, data-driven ETRs according to guidelines Assist with developing targeted RTI strategies to meet diverse student needs Attend and actively contribute to meetings with staff and families Support school initiatives and collaborate on solutions for student success Compensation for this position ranges from $45/hr to $55/hr, reflecting your professional skill set. Eligible professionals may also receive healthcare benefits along with options for housing and meals/incidentals while on assignment.
