Job Description

Stark State College is seeking a passionate and dedicated part-time instructor to join our Social Science Department. The successful candidate will contribute to the college's commitment to academic excellence, student success, and community engagement.

Typical Responsibilities Include:
Prepare and deliver evening, weekend, and web-based courses in Psychology. Participate in mandatory college activities that support the department and the mission of the college. Additional responsibilities include preparing instructional materials and assessing student performance, including electronic submission of never attends, early alerts, mid-term grades, and final grades by the required dates. Have the ability to work with a wide range of learning styles and backgrounds.
To Be Considered, You'll Need:
A Master's Degree in Psychology or related field OR a Master's Degree (any discipline) and 18 graduate credit hours in Psychology/related field required. To demonstrate effective communication and organization skills. To show evidence of the depth of knowledge, background, and continual development in the field of teaching and area of expertise. Previous teaching experience is preferred.
