Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Embrace a rewarding opportunity to support elementary-aged learners as a full-time School Psychologist in a dynamic educational environment. In this contract role, you will positively impact students from kindergarten through 4th grade, serving approximately 50 students across three school buildings. Your work will commence in mid-August, offering a chance to start the new academic year by fostering growth and success for young learners.
Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Certified or licensed School Psychologist Previous experience in K-4 or elementary school settings preferred Strong knowledge of assessment tools, IEP processes, and intervention strategies Ability to effectively collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify student strengths and needs Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide direct and consultative services to students, educators, and families Collaborate with educational staff to support student success and social-emotional development Participate in multi-tiered systems of support and problem-solving teams Maintain thorough documentation while balancing caseload responsibilities across three buildings The position offers the unique chance to serve a focused population of 50 students, allowing for meaningful connections and targeted interventions.
