Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a positive impact supporting students across grades K-12 as a School Psychologist on a contract basis! This full-time opportunity (with consideration for part-time applicants) offers the chance to work itinerantly, collaborating with staff, parents, and students to improve student outcomes. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive evaluations, actively participating in IEP meetings, and providing expertise to help create supportive learning environments. You'll serve a diverse caseload from Kindergarten through 12th grade, making a real difference in multiple school settings.
Ideal candidates will have:
Current School Psychologist Certification for the state of Ohio Experience working in K-12 educational environments Strong skills in evaluation and assessment Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and students Excellent communication, organizational, and time management abilities Genuine passion for helping students succeed Key responsibilities: Perform student assessments and evaluations Develop and implement intervention strategies Attend and contribute to IEP meetings Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families Consult on best practices for positive behavioral support Travel between schools as part of an itinerant role Compensation for this position ranges from $45/hr to $53/hr.
