Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role as a School Psychologist for the upcoming academic year! This is a contract opportunity based near Strongsville, OH, working within one building to provide vital support for students and staff. Beginning August 24, 2026, and running through June 7, 2027, you'll work 37.5 hours per week in a dynamic school environment. The caseload for this assignment is approximately 40-50 students and includes participation in evaluations, developing and implementing IEPs, and designing effective interventions.
Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist certification or license in Ohio Experience in school-based psychological services Strong background in student evaluations and report writing Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring Ability to provide consultation and collaboration with educators, parents, and related service providers Highly organized with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments, interpret data, and participate in eligibility determination meetings Collaborate in the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Design and support intervention strategies to promote academic and emotional growth Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student support Address student concerns and provide crisis intervention when appropriate Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure compliance with district and state regulations This position places you in a close-knit community focused on student success, with access to a wealth of professional resources and a spirit of collaboration.
