Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Take the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in elementary education by supporting students' academic and emotional growth. This full-time contract position as a School Psychologist covers 37.5 hours per week for the 26/27 school year, offering a dynamic environment where your expertise is valued and your contributions are essential. What you'll bring: Current certification as a School Psychologist in Ohio required Experience working in elementary school settings preferred Knowledge in conducting student evaluations and compiling assessment reports Strong understanding of special education process, including active participation in IEP meetings Proficiency in student observation and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff, and families Your responsibilities in this role: Complete comprehensive evaluations for referred elementary students Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings, providing insight into student needs and supports Conduct classroom and individual observations to assist with intervention planning Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to help shape positive learning experiences Maintain accurate documentation and comply with legal, ethical, and district requirements regarding assessments Candidates will enjoy a compensation range of $45/hr to $55/hr, as well as the possibility of receiving healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals during the contract period.
