Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students by supporting their academic and personal growth in a dynamic, collaborative educational setting. This full-time contract opportunity is available from January through May 26th, 2027, with flexibility for professionals seeking part-time arrangements. You'll work with elementary and middle school populations, providing essential psychological services that foster safe and effective learning environments.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Ohio School Psychologist certification required Experience with writing Evaluation Team Reports (ETRs) Skilled in student observations, formal/informal assessments, and testing protocols Familiarity with the Response to Intervention (RTI) process Confident communicator at multidisciplinary meetings and with diverse school teams
Responsibilities Include:
Preparing thorough ETRs and maintaining detailed, accurate documentation Conducting observations and administering standardized and curriculum-based assessments Collaborating with educators and parents to design and implement student support strategies Assisting in the RTI process, including progress monitoring and intervention planning Participating in team meetings to contribute to student success plans and compliance requirements In addition to a competitive hourly compensation ranging from $45 to $55 based on experience and credentials, qualified candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare coverage, housing, and meal/incidentals support.
