Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic school environment supporting the academic, behavioral, and emotional well-being of elementary and middle school students. This full-time (or part-time, if needed) contract opportunity begins in January and runs through May 26th, 2027. As a School Psychologist, you'll play a vital role in shaping students' educational journeys and collaborating with an engaged school community. Your day-to-day experience will highlight your expertise and make a meaningful impact. Qualified professionals looking to make a difference will thrive in this rewarding setting.
Key Qualifications:
Valid and current Ohio School Psychologist certification is required Prior experience in K-8 settings strongly preferred Confident conducting student observations, writing ETRs, and leading assessments Familiarity with RTI (Response to Intervention) processes Excellent communication skills for working with teachers, families, and administrators Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in documentation and follow-up
Your Key Responsibilities:
Write ETRs (Evaluation Team Reports) and conduct student testing and observations Collaborate with educators and families during meetings and planning sessions Provide insights and assistance in the RTI process to promote positive student outcomes Participate in or lead multidisciplinary meetings, sharing expertise as needed Deliver thoughtful, data-based recommendations for supports and interventions In addition, the compensation for this position ranges from $45/hr to $55/hr.
