Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An established school in Newport, OR, is seeking a full-time School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services for K-12 students. This contract position offers a 37.5-hour workweek, focusing on conducting evaluations and assessments that help support student success.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for K-12 students Collaborate with educators and staff to interpret assessment results and develop appropriate interventions Provide consultation and support to teachers, parents, and administrators regarding student needs Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) developmentPreferred Qualifications:
Credentialed School Psychologist with experience in K-12 educational settings Strong knowledge of psychoeducational assessment tools and best practices Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel Ability to work onsite full time, ensuring consistent presence and collaboration with school staffLocation and Work Schedule:
