Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a lasting impact by supporting students and staff as a dedicated School Psychologist in a contract, itinerant role serving two well-supported sites near North Plains, OR. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who excel in psychoeducational assessment, value teamwork, and enjoy working across different settings. You'll have the chance to focus on triennial re-evaluations with a minimal counseling component, ensuring your expertise is dedicated to evaluations and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations (triennials) for K-12 students Prepare thorough, compliant evaluation reports Participate in IEP meetings, offering insight as part of collaborative, multidisciplinary teams Monitor deadlines to ensure adherence to federal and state special education regulations Offer consultation to educators and families regarding student needs and support strategies Travel between two nearby campuses to coordinate services and assessments as needed
Desired Qualifications:
Current Oregon School Psychologist license or eligibility for state TSPC credential Experience performing school-based psychoeducational assessments (preferred) Proficiency in report writing and case management Excellent organization and time management skills for managing an itinerant role Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
