Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Take your expertise on the road as a School Psychologist supporting students in a dynamic, collaborative setting. This contract opportunity is an itinerant assignment that allows you to make an impact at two closely-located school sites. You'll focus chiefly on conducting re-evaluations (primarily triennials), giving you a specialized caseload with minimal day-to-day counseling duties. Enjoy working alongside established, supportive teams who are dedicated to student success. Your typical week will be full-time, 37.5-40 hours, with travel limited to two nearby campuses. Immediate starts through the 2026-2027 academic year are possible.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational assessments and triennial re-evaluations Write detailed, compliant evaluation reports Participate in IEP meetings, offering insight and recommendations Ensure compliance with all relevant timelines, state, and federal regulations Provide expert consultation to educational staff and student families as needed Flexibly manage an itinerant schedule between two sitesWhat We're Looking For:
Valid Oregon School Psychologist license or TSPC credential Prior experience in school-based evaluation is highly valued Demonstrated skill in report writing and time management Ability to efficiently coordinate travel between schools This position offers a competitive hourly rate based on experience, with weekly pay.
