Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by providing essential psychological support to students in a dynamic school environment near Harrisburg, PA. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals who are passionate about fostering academic success and emotional well-being in children and adolescents.
Key Qualifications:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (appropriate for the state of Pennsylvania) Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field Strong knowledge of assessment, intervention, and counseling strategies within a school setting Experience creating and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with students, educators, and families Familiarity with multi-tiered systems of support and response to intervention processes
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough psychological evaluations and interpret assessment data to support instructional planning Deliver direct and consultative psychological services to students, including counseling and crisis intervention Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop strategies and interventions that promote positive student outcomes Participate actively in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings Provide training and consultation to school staff on behavior management and academic interventions Maintain accurate records, reports, and confidentiality at all times
