Philadelphia, PA Job Details 8 hours ago Qualifications Computer operation Doctoral degree Writing skills Computer skills Full Job Description At Children's Crisis Treatment Center (CCTC), our staff is dedicated to addressing the impact of childhood traumatic events and other challenges. The Psychologist will serve the health care needs of children presenting with crisis and behavioral health issues in a trauma-informed manner. The equivalent of four comprehensive evaluations or re-evaluations will be scheduled per each 7.5 hour day worked. Evaluations will be completed and corresponding progress notes written preferably within 5 working days, at the maximum within 10 working days. If supportive documentation is not available in the chart within 2 working days of the evaluation, the evaluator will contact the program director to request that information. If any supporting documentation is missing after 5 days, the evaluator will notify the division directors and the Director of Clinical and Quality Affairs. Addendums will be completed on an as-needed basis, with two addendums being the equivalent of one re-evaluation scheduled. Contacts will be made to our payer as needed to clarify recommendations in evaluations. Attend all trainings that are required by CCTC, and maintain CEU's needed for licensure (at own expense for the latter). Assist in monthly supervision of BSC's and consultation where appropriate to teams working with a child who was evaluated. Co-sign reports of non-licensed staff as needed, ensuring accuracy and clinical soundness of any report presented for co-signature. Review schedule each work day, in advance, for accuracy and proper "status" of each session. May attend CCTC committee meetings as time and interest permits. Coordinate and assist with special projects as needed, related to the evaluation process. Provide support and participate in presentations made in the community. Attend presentations and meetings by community stakeholders on the assessment and therapeutic process. Must have a doctoral degree in psychology or a closely related field. Must be licensed or license eligible as a psychologist in Pennsylvania.
