For more than 50 years, CORA has served children and families experiencing emotional, academic and social challenges that impact their development and productivity. Our mission is to empower children, young people and families to thrive through quality and compassionate service. Our School Services Division provides a range of school support services to students in more than 100 non-public and charter schools in the city of Philadelphia. We are currently seeking a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year for our Non-Public Schools. Full-time, 10-month positions (part-time and 1099 options may be available) Minimum starting salary $64,337 Our school psychologists function within a multi-disciplinary team in their assigned school(s). As team members of CORA Services, school psychologists have access to supervisory support for clinically complex cases and for logistical needs related to their day-to-day work, as well as access to ongoing professional trainings and conferences sponsored by CORA. Working in non-public school settings allows the school psychologist more flexibility to set their own schedule, to recommend interventions and other instructional strategies to be trialed within the classroom before students of concern are referred for full evaluations, and to provide recommendations and referrals that will foster the strengths and address the needs of evaluated students both inside and outside of school. All CORA team members are expected to uphold the mission, vision and values of CORA Services which includes valuing all individuals and supporting each individual's potential for growth In addition, as a School Psychologist your duties will include: Providing consultative services to school staff, parents, students, and other members of their multi-disciplinary school teams Compiling psychosocial histories on families and children assigned for evaluation; administering psychoeducational testing to determine needs of students; conducting interpretive sessions related to all screenings and evaluations administered to students; writing all reports pertaining to psychoeducational services provided to students. Consulting with school personnel and families to assist with the development and implementation of modifications and accommodations to support academic and functional skills development of students with disabilities Participating in all necessary multi-disciplinary school team functions, including regular team meetings Adhering to agency guidelines and requirements concerning caseload management, record- keeping, and accountability. Contributing to regular psychology staff meetings where best practices and systematic approaches to problem-solving are discussed. Other relevant duties as assigned or required
QUALIFICATIONS
Masters Degree in School Psychology Pennsylvania Department of Education Certification in School Psychology Candidates with doctoral degree & PA Psychologist license desired Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain positive rapport with students and productive working relationships with parents, teachers and other staff Excellent verbal and written communication skillsCORA Offers:
