Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. What we seek:
Valid School Psychologist certification (state-specific credentials required) Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or closely related field Experience conducting assessments (cognitive, behavioral, emotional) Proficiency in developing and implementing behavioral intervention plans Strong understanding of IEP processes, including attendance at meetings and progress monitoring Ability to provide individual and group counseling services Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and cross-disciplinary teams Your key responsibilities: Complete comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for special education services Interpret assessment data and share findings with team members, using insights to guide educational planning Participate actively in Student Support Teams and IEP meetings, offering expertise on eligibility and recommendations Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies to address students' behavioral and social-emotional needs Provide crisis intervention and consultation to staff and families as needed Support staff training and development around mental health and positive behavioral practices Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports in a timely manner Enjoy the benefits of contract employment, allowing flexibility and variety in your professional life.
