Wynns Family Psychology is seeking to hire a clinical psychologist/ therapist for part-time or full-time) in the following locations (as well as some virtual hours): Cary, NC Raleigh, NC Fuquay Varina, NC Greensboro, NC As an independent contractor, you are able to set your own schedule (please note that certain offices only have availability on certain days). If you would like, you can also split your time between the various locations. At this time, most of our providers are seeing clients in-person, although telehealth is also available as needed/ preferred. As a child-teen practice, we need providers who are able and willing to see clients during "primetime" after school hours including later afternoon and evenings (until 7 or 8pm). Weekends are available too! We currently have specific needs for clinicians who enjoy working with younger children, middle schoolers, parent coaching, and/or couples. Are there W-2 positions available? Yes! We do offer a pathway to a W-2 position. Providers typically begin as independent contractors, and once consistent revenue goals have been met for three consecutive months, there is an opportunity to transition to a W-2 role. Some providers have successfully made this transition within as little as three months. Who Are We? You Know How to Hold and Respect Boundaries. Since we also place a premium on creating and maintaining a positive work environment, we look for clinicians who demonstrate professionalism and maintain a focus on constructive communication, avoiding gossip and inappropriate venting to their coworkers. We are also thankful that our positive reputation has resulted in a number of referrals over the years, which means if you are able to retain a caseload, we are able to fill it. However, that also means you need to be willing and able to communicate with us when your caseload is "full" and to stick to your boundaries (Hello work-life balance!). If you find you struggle to say "no," let us know and we are happy to give you some pointers! While our fee split is not the highest in the area, it is also not the lowest. As WFP is out of network for all insurance companies, we are able to set fees which allows our providers to be compensated at a rate that is fair and highly competitive for practices (with the take-home pay per hour/ session on the high end). We continuously evaluate our rates and continuously look to find ways to better support our staff while staying competitive with the current market. We offer our clinicians a ton of support including access to monthly peer supervisions, peer mentors when you are first starting out, diversity training, lunch and learns, and access to an expansive electronic library full of resources, templates, videos, and referral sources.
