We believe that "access" for clients is not possible without clinicians who are there to do the work. Therefore, Affinity's foundational philosophy is to support the well-being of the incredible mental health clinicians on our team. We exist to allow clinicians to have long, meaningful, sustainable careers in this field.

What full-time actually means here:

We consider full-time to be 20 billed clinical hours per week, for 48 weeks per year. We assume you take 4 full weeks off annually and we build that into your minimum

• because rest is part of the job.

Build your own role:

We are seeking psychologists who want to create their own ideal combination of psychological assessment, postdoctoral supervision, and/or therapy. You decide what that mix looks like, and it can evolve over time as your interests and life do as well. Bonus pay for those who want more: Psychologists who choose to average more than 20 billed clinical hours per week earn a quarterly bonus of $100 per billed clinical hour over that minimum, uncapped. But it's never required and never expected.

Full schedule autonomy:

You decide when, where, how, and with whom you work best. In-office, telehealth, or hybrid is entirely up to you. If you are joining an in-person team, we do require a minimum of 2 days per week in-office, to ensure colleagues have sufficient opportunities to build both personal and professional relationships with one another.

Our pay rate:

(Full transparency, always) Psychologist Clinicians (fully licensed): $83,000 annual base salary $100 per billed clinical hour over the 20hr/week minimum, paid quarterly (uncapped) Why base salary + bonus matters: Your income is predictable every month, with no waiting on insurance reimbursements and no exposure to audits, clawbacks, or insurance delays. The moment you see a client, your pay is guaranteed, with unlimited upside if you choose to do more. We take Medicaid and all insurance plans, including lower-reimbursing ones. Equitable access to mental health care is core to who we are. If that's not a fit for you, we're probably not the right practice for you.
