Supervising Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) -
Virtual Pediatric Diagnostic Clinic Location:
Remote (Licensed in MA, NJ, or NY), or Hybrid depending on location (2-3 on site days per month is maximum)Division:
Diagnostic Division Position Overview:
The Supervising Psychologist will oversee diagnostic technicians (psychometrists) and maintain a small caseload of pediatric clients (ages 16 months to 16 years) for comprehensive psychological and neurodevelopmental assessment. Responsibilities include supervision, case review, report integration, and direct client testing within a virtual clinic setting.Supervision of Diagnostic Technicians:
Provide clinical supervision and guidance to psychometrists administering standardized psychological and neurodevelopmental assessments. Review technicians' administration protocols for adherence to ethical, legal, and procedural standards. Support technicians in diagnostic intake procedures and test administration. Offer consultation regarding complex cases and ensure quality of preliminary scoring and data collection.Direct Assessment Services:
Carry a limited caseload of pediatric clients, conducting virtual diagnostic assessments as needed. Administer, score, and interpret standardized psychological and neurodevelopmental tests for children and adolescents. Receive case transfers from technicians; finalize scoring, integrate multi-source data, and synthesize findings.Report Writing and Integration:
Draft, edit, and finalize comprehensive diagnostic reports for all clients assessed. Integrate technician-administered data, clinical interviews, and collateral information into cohesive diagnostic impressions. Ensure reports meet clinical, regulatory, and organizational standards.Feedback and Consultation:
Conduct virtual feedback sessions with parents, families, and care teams to explain diagnostic outcomes, recommendations, and next steps. Provide ongoing consultation for referring providers and multidisciplinary teams as needed.Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Maintain compliance with state licensure requirements and organizational protocols for virtual service delivery. Participate in regular division meetings, case reviews, and continuing education to support clinic quality. Adhere to HIPAA and all relevant privacy/confidentiality standards.Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an accredited program. Active, unrestricted license to practice psychology in Massachusetts, New Jersey, or New York. Experience conducting and supervising pediatric psychological/neurodevelopmental assessments. Familiarity with virtual assessment protocols and telehealth best practices. Strong report writing, data integration, and case presentation skills.Reporting Structure:
Reports to Diagnostic Division Leader. Collaborates with diagnostic technicians, administrative staff, and multidisciplinary care teams.Preferred Experience:
Supervisory experience in clinical or diagnostic settings. Experience with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, learning disabilities, and developmental delays. Comfort with virtual platforms and electronic health records.Work Environment:
Remote/virtual clinic setting, flexible scheduling, collaborative team structure.Pay:
