This opportunity is for someone who wants to work in an environment where clinical judgment, emotional stability, and real-world problem-solving matter every day. AlediumHR is partnering with a national correctional healthcare organization seeking a Licensed Psychologist to support a secure institutional setting in Leavenworth, Kansas. The work is structured, fast-paced, and impactful. You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team helping manage complex mental health needs within a correctional environment serving both male and female detainees. The Role in Practice You'll conduct evaluations, crisis assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing psychological care for an underserved population with significant behavioral and mental health challenges. Daily responsibilities include 1. Psychological screenings and diagnostic assessments 2. Individualized treatment planning and intervention 3. Crisis stabilization and behavioral management support 4. Collaboration with psychiatry, medical staff, nursing, social services, and security personnel 5. Monitoring patients in restrictive or segregated housing environments 6. Maintaining detailed and compliant clinical documentation This is hands-on clinical work where adaptability and professional composure are critical. Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited university 2. Current unrestricted Psychologist license in Kansas 3. Minimum two years of clinical experience, including at least one year in a comparable setting 4. Strong assessment, communication, and intervention skills 5. Additional experience in corrections, detention, inpatient behavioral health, or forensic psychology is highly valued. Remote work is not available. Candidates must be comfortable working inside an ICE detention environment serving both male and female populations.
