Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience , including at least 1 year in a comparable psychologist role . Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves) Prior experience in Corrections, Detention, or Institutional Settings . Experience working with diverse populations and managing crisis situations. Key Responsibilities Conduct psychological screenings, assessments, and clinical interviews based on available records and patient evaluations. Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and level of functioning. Provide individual counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral health services to inmates/residents. Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, social workers, mental health professionals, and security staff to ensure coordinated patient care. Conduct regular rounds in segregation and restricted housing units to assess inmate adjustment and mental health treatment needs. Evaluate and address behavioral concerns, mental health crises, and psychological conditions through evidence-based interventions. Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and case consultations. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with facility policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements. Support staff development, consultation, and mental health program initiatives as needed. Required Skills Strong knowledge of psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment methodologies. Excellent crisis management and de-escalation skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills. DH Pay:
