Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Psychologist to join our dynamic mental health team, offering both full-time and part-time opportunities. In this vital role, you will provide expert psychological assessment, therapy, and crisis intervention services to diverse populations across inpatient, outpatient, school, and telehealth settings. Duties Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and psychological testing to inform treatment planning. Provide evidence-based psychotherapy such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral health counseling, and trauma-focused interventions like PTSD care. Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions tailored to clients' needs across inpatient, outpatient, school-based, and telehealth platforms. Manage crisis situations through prompt intervention and stabilization techniques, ensuring safety for clients experiencing acute mental health episodes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including social workers, medical staff, educators, and caregivers—to develop integrated care plans. Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations; document patient assessments, treatment progress, and discharge summaries. Supervise clinical interns or junior staff when applicable, fostering professional development within the team. Qualifications Valid licensure as a Psychologist in the respective state or territory with current certification to practice independently. Proven experience working with children and families in clinical settings; familiarity with child & family counseling is highly desirable. Strong background in crisis intervention techniques and managing behavioral health emergencies. Experience working in hospital or inpatient environments is preferred; familiarity with medical records systems is a plus. Expertise in evidence-based therapies such as CBT, psychotherapy for PTSD or trauma-related disorders, autism spectrum disorder interventions, addiction counseling, and working with individuals with disabilities. Knowledge of psychological testing procedures and diagnostic evaluation methods across diverse populations including geriatrics and pediatrics. Excellent communication skills for intake assessments, patient care coordination, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Telehealth experience is advantageous; ability to adapt therapeutic approaches for virtual delivery while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
