Licensed Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) - Part-Time Independent Contractor Dallas, TX (Hybrid/In-Person & Telehealth) Psych Matters Join a Growing Mental Health Team Dedicated to Exceptional Patient Care Psych Matters is a multidisciplinary mental health practice providing psychiatry and therapy services throughout Texas and New York. We are committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care through a collaborative team of psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, therapists, and psychologists. We offer both in-person and telehealth services to improve access to quality mental healthcare. We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) to join our Dallas team as a Part-Time Independent Contractor (1099) . This position offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to work alongside a supportive and growing behavioral health organization. Position Overview The Psychologist will provide psychological assessment, psychotherapy, and consultation services for children, adolescents, and/or adults based on their areas of expertise. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering high-quality clinical care and enjoys collaborating within a multidisciplinary treatment team. Responsibilities Conduct psychological evaluations and diagnostic assessments Provide individual psychotherapy utilizing evidence-based treatment approaches Develop individualized treatment plans and recommendations Collaborate with psychiatrists, PMHNPs, therapists, and referring providers Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation Participate in case consultation and interdisciplinary treatment planning Provide telehealth and/or in-person services as appropriate QualificationsRequired Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or related field Licensed Psychologist in Texas Experience providing psychotherapy and psychological assessment Strong clinical documentation and communication skills Ability to work independently as a contractor while collaborating effectively within a team environment Preferred Experience with psychological testing and assessments Experience treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, PTSD, OCD, and mood disorders Experience working with children, adolescents, and/or adults Telehealth experience Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply What We Offer Flexible part-time schedule Independent contractor (1099) arrangement Competitive percentage split or fee-for-service compensation Referrals from an established psychiatry and therapy practice Administrative and billing support EHR, credentialing, and scheduling support Hybrid telehealth and in-office opportunities Collaborative multidisciplinary team environment About Psych Matters Psych Matters provides comprehensive psychiatric and therapy services throughout Texas and New York with both virtual and in-office options.
