Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Psychological Associate with an assessment focus to join our private practice. In this role, you will conduct psychological and neuropsychological assessments, with an emphasis on ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder in children and adolescents, though some adult assessment is also possible. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work with families, utilizing your skills in clinical testing, behavioral health, and neurodevelopmental disorders to make a meaningful difference in people's lives. Responsibilities Conduct thorough individual psychological assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and psychological testing for children, adolescents, and adults. Administer and interpret a variety of standardized assessment tools. Recommend personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings. Support crisis intervention efforts when necessary, ensuring safety and appropriate follow-up care. Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines. Attend supervision and training Conduct testing in the office, with the flexibility to complete reports remotely. Qualifications Master's degree or higher in psychology, and eligible for psychological associate registration with the CA Board of Psychology. Proven experience conducting individual psychological and/or neuropsychological assessments and writing evaluation reports. Knowledge of evidence-based practice approaches, including behavioral interventions, psychotherapy, and behavioral management strategies. Experience working with children, adolescents, or adults with neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD and autism spectrum disorder. Excellent communication skills for intake interviews, patient care coordination, and interdisciplinary collaboration. About Westcoast Trauma and Testing Specialists We are a private psychology practice based in Folsom, California, providing evidence-based psychological services across the lifespan. Our clinical specialties include comprehensive psychological assessment for ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), learning differences, and other psychological conditions, as well as trauma-focused psychotherapy and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP). Our assessment practice is one of the few practices in the region accepting insurance for psychological testing. As a result, we maintain an active testing waitlist, allowing clinicians to gain meaningful experience with a diverse range of diagnostic presentations soon after onboarding.
Pay:
$43.00 - $55.00 per hour
