Job Description
Overview Nowlogy of Hastings is seeking a licensed psychologist or pre-licensed post-doctoral fellow to join our team. Our clinic is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of our clients through compassionate care and evidence-based practices and create a working environment focused on work-life balance, support, and connection. Duties/Opportunities Deliver individual, group, couples, and family therapy utilizing modalities such as ACT, CBT, EMDR, Interpersonal Process, etc. Offer specialized care for clients with general presenting problems as well as your area of expertise. At our Hastings clinic we see many individuals seeking support for trauma, anxiety, depression, relational concerns, OCD, and school challenges. Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify mental health conditions and treatment needs. Supervise and provide mentorship to post-doctoral fellows. Stay current with best practices in psychology and ongoing learning opportunities through continuous education and professional development. Skills Develop strong rapport with clients and develop a safe, accepting therapeutic environment. Maintain timely and accurate documentation. Effectively utilize telehealth platforms to provide virtual sessions. Excellent communication skills for engaging clients of all ages while demonstrating empathy and professionalism. Qualifications Ph.D. or Psy.
D. in Counseling or Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution (U.S. or Canada) Licensed or eligible for licensure in Minnesota (supervision available for those completing their post-doctoral hours) Eligible for the PsyPact APIT and E-Passport Work Environment Enjoy a work atmosphere that is warm, cozy, open, supportive, balanced, and calm. Hastings is a short commute from multiple desirable cities to call home (if you choose not to call Hastings home that is!), including Cottage Grove, Woodbury, Red Wing, and Rosemount. Additional Job Details Full-time and Part-time options W2 and Contract options: Contractors are independent, currently licensed, provide their own equipment, determine their own hours and case load, not benefits-eligible, sign annual contracts, carry their own malpractice insurance, and are paid a competitive percentage of their clinical revenue. Employees are able to start prior to licensure and receive supervision at no extra cost, provided with equipment (e.g., computers), eligible for benefits, receive PTO and holiday pay, earn a consistent salary, and can help co-create an employment and compensation package that matches their individual needs.
