Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time role is available for a licensed School Psychologist to provide telehealth services within a K-12 educational setting. This virtual position allows for direct support of students' mental health and educational needs while working remotely to serve the school community.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations for students across K-12 grade levels. Providing consultation and counseling services via telehealth platforms to support academic, social, and emotional development. Collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to develop effective interventions and individualized education programs (IEPs). Maintaining compliance with state regulations and ethical standards for school psychology practice. Documenting and reporting findings, progress, and recommendations accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications and experience:
Valid Virginia School Psychology License. Proven experience working with K-12 students in school psychology roles. Strong skills in telehealth service delivery and virtual communication. Ability to manage a full-time caseload with professionalism and adherence to deadlines. Knowledge of current best practices in school psychology and educational interventions.
