Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students by providing essential psychological services during the 2026-2027 school year in the Bay Area. This is a contract opportunity for experienced School Psychologists to support a large, diverse psychological services department. The role is exclusively onsite (with possible hybrid arrangements considered for the right candidate), working collaboratively with educators, families, and students to foster learning and emotional well-being in a thriving K-12 environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Valid and current School Psychologist credential/certification (no counselors, only licensed School Psychologists) Experience working in school settings; strong understanding of K-12 student needs Excellent communication, assessment, and case management skills Ability to collaborate with a large department as well as independently manage caseload Flexible, solution-oriented, and comfortable working onsite; open to travel professionals
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement support plans Assist with crisis intervention, behavioral management, and development of IEP/504 plans Maintain accurate records and participate in multidisciplinary meetings Offer consultation, training, and guidance to staff on student mental health and learning needs Engage positively in a department known for teamwork and commitment to best practices What to
