Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a significant difference in the lives of students as a contracted School Psychologist working onsite with a diverse K-12 student population. This engaging opportunity is ideal for those who are passionate about fostering student well-being and eager to bring their expertise to multiple school locations within one community. The assignment runs for the full academic year, from August 6, 2026, through May 26, 2027, and offers a consistent 37.5-hour workweek in a welcoming educational setting.
Qualifications:
Hold an active Colorado School Psychologist license (with CDE endorsement) Prior experience as a School Psychologist, preferably in a K-12 environment Ability to adapt to working across multiple school sites as assigned Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities Must be available for onsite work only; remote/virtual options are not permittedKey Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and support staff to develop effective interventions Contribute to the creation and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide crisis intervention and support for students as needed Participate in team meetings and professional development activities Serve as a resource for best practices regarding mental health and student wellness This position provides an outstanding opportunity to work directly with students and staff, making a tangible impact each day.
