Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Take on a meaningful role supporting high school students as a School Psychologist in a dynamic educational setting near Arizona City, AZ. This full-time contract runs from July 7th through May 28th, 2027, providing 34 hours each week. You'll spend four days onsite, with a flexible Wednesday work-from-home day dedicated to documentation and indirect responsibilities. Your core responsibilities will include managing a caseload of high school students ranging from 14 to 22 years old. Daily tasks involve conducting evaluations and observations, participating in IEP meetings, and actively promoting mental health awareness within the school community. The position offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference by fostering supportive learning environments and collaborating with educators, students, and families.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Arizona School Psychologist certification required Experience working with high school-aged students preferred Demonstrated ability to perform student evaluations and classroom observations Familiarity with IEP processes Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Passion for mental health advocacy in an educational setting
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological and educational assessments for students ages 14-22 Observe students and consult with teachers and staff Develop recommendations and strategies during IEP meetings Document findings, maintain accurate records, and support compliance Facilitate initiatives that promote mental health and well-being campus-wide Compensation for this position is competitive, ranging from $45/hr to $56/hr.
