Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Explore a fulfilling opportunity supporting students in a small, close-knit Washington district as a school psychologist. This full-time, onsite contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact alongside a dedicated, supportive staff. You'll work with elementary and middle school students, providing psychological services that foster academic and social success.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Current or eligibility for Washington OSPI certification as a school psychologist Proven expertise in administering assessments, developing interventions, and supporting students' social-emotional needs Experience with elementary and/or middle school populations Strong communication and collaboration skills Open to travel professionals eager to become part of a vibrant educational environment Ability to commit to a 40-hour workweek, onsite presence required (no hybrid/remote work at this time)
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to develop and implement student support plans Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed Provide crisis intervention services when necessary Support positive behavioral interventions and restorative practices Maintain accurate records and adhere to district and state policies
