Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a positive impact in elementary education by supporting students' academic, social, and emotional growth as a School Psychologist in a dynamic environment. This contract position involves working on-site with kindergarten through fifth grade students throughout the school year. You'll collaborate closely with educators and specialized teams to facilitate student interventions, conduct evaluations, and provide essential services.
Key Qualifications:
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Previous experience in school settings with elementary-age children Strong skills in psychological assessments, IEP development, and student support services Ability to participate actively in building leadership and crisis response teams Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities
Core Responsibilities:
Serve as an integral member of the school community, contributing to daily problem-solving processes and multidisciplinary teams Participate in the Student Intervention Team and Building Crisis Team to proactively support student wellbeing Conduct assessments and evaluations for IEP development and implement related services Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to identify and address learning and behavioral concerns Support and monitor the progress of interventions, making recommendations for adjustments as needed Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to state and federal requirements This opportunity runs from late July to early June, following a 37.5-hour, on-site workweek with potential for remote flexibility if the position remains open.
