We're partnering with a school district in Maricopa County, AZ to hire a dedicated Hybrid School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year . This full-time hybrid opportunity offers a schedule of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote , providing flexibility while allowing you to make a meaningful impact on student success. In this role, you will support students' academic achievement, social-emotional development, and overall well-being through assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educators, families, and support staff. Responsibilities:
Provide direct support services to students with social-emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs. Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments to support eligibility determinations and educational planning. Support the development and implementation of Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development and documentation. Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and families regarding student learning, behavior, and emotional well-being. Deliver both direct and indirect services to support student success across educational settings. Provide crisis intervention and support as needed within the school environment. Collaborate with educators, related service providers, and families to promote positive student outcomes.
Qualifications:
Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology Active Arizona Department of Education (ADE) School Psychologist certification, or ability to obtain Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and comprehensive assessments Knowledge of special education processes, eligibility determinations, and IEP development Experience providing behavioral and social-emotional interventions in a school setting preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and report-writing skills
