Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic educational environment supporting a dedicated elementary building with a student population of 500-600, including emotional and autistic support classes. This contract opportunity invites School Psychologists to make a meaningful impact by championing student growth and well-being. The school emphasizes the importance of MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports), and your expertise will be central to fostering a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere. This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis, with the flexibility to accommodate a hybrid schedule. Desired Skills and Experience:
Certified school psychologist with an active license Experience supporting elementary-aged children, particularly in emotional or autistic support settings Proficiency conducting evaluations, re-evaluations, and creating comprehensive educational recommendations Familiarity with MTSS frameworks and interventions Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Passion for fostering positive social, emotional, and academic development
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological evaluations and re-evaluations for elementary students, particularly those in specialized support classes Collaborate as part of the MTSS process, providing data-driven insights and intervention strategies Deliver direct and consultative support to faculty, staff, and families Participate in team meetings to develop and review individualized education plans (IEPs) Contribute to ongoing efforts to enhance inclusion and equity within the school community Experience an engaging role where your evaluations and expertise guide meaningful student supports.
