Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity awaits for a skilled School Psychologist seeking a contract position for the 2026/2027 academic year. In this role, you'll provide essential psychological services in an elementary setting, supporting a student population of approximately 500-600, including those in emotional and autistic support classrooms. Flexibility is available for full-time or part-time candidates, with the potential for a hybrid schedule to accommodate your needs.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Certification and licensure as a School Psychologist Experience in school-based settings is strongly preferred Familiarity with Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) Strong background in conducting educational evaluations and re-evaluations Comfort working with students in emotional and autistic support programs Excellent communication and collaboration skillsKey Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations to support student success Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families as part of an MTSS team Assist with the development of interventions and support plans tailored to individual student needs Provide crisis assessment and support as needed within the elementary population Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility and service planning Maintain accurate, detailed records, and comply with all legal and ethical requirements This contract position offers the chance to work in a supportive educational environment dedicated to fostering student growth.
