Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a direct impact in the lives of students as a School Psychologist supporting Pre-K through 8th grade in a contract role. This opportunity is located near Naperville, IL and offers the chance to contribute meaningfully within a collaborative team environment. Multiple positions are available, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week—and the added benefit of the option to work from home one day a week. Ideal candidates will bring expertise and initiative, confidently leading and scheduling eligibility meetings, and actively participating in Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) problem-solving. You will play a pivotal leadership role among the multidisciplinary diagnostic team, ensuring students' needs are thoroughly assessed and addressed.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement Prior experience as a School Psychologist within a school setting, ideally working with Pre-K-8th grade Ability to lead and organize eligibility meetings, as well as schedule them proactively Experience implementing MTSS problem-solving processes Strong skills in screening, consultation, evaluation, and intervention strategies Collaborative approach, with willingness to work closely with teachers, families, and related service staff
Key Responsibilities:
