Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract A position is available for a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year in Olympia, WA, offering a hybrid work schedule. This contract role requires presence onsite for all student assessments, with opportunities to complete reports and potentially participate in IEP meetings remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students. Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop appropriate intervention plans. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as needed. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments and recommendations. Provide support for students' social-emotional and behavioral needs within the school environment.Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure. Experience conducting student assessments and interpreting results. Strong knowledge of educational and psychological theories, assessment tools, and interventions. Excellent communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families. Ability to manage documentation efficiently and meet deadlines. Willingness to work onsite for all assessments with flexibility to complete other duties remotely.Location:
Position based in Olympia, WA, within a school setting. Hybrid work schedule with onsite presence required for assessments.Compensation:
Hourly rate ranging from $50 to $65, dependent on experience and qualifications.
