School Psychologist in Redford, MI Bilingual Therapies - 2.9 Redford, MI Job Details Contract 5 days ago Qualifications School experience Practicing as a mental health professional Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school psychologist position is available in Redford, MI for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract role involves providing comprehensive psychological services and support to students within a K-12 educational setting. The professional will collaborate closely with educators and families to assess student needs, develop intervention strategies, and foster positive mental health in the school environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations Developing and implementing intervention plans tailored to student needs Collaborating with teachers, counselors, and families to support student well-being Promoting mental health awareness and resources within the school Maintaining detailed documentation and complying with relevant regulations Qualifications and desired experience: Michigan School Psychologist Certification is required Previous experience working as a school psychologist in an educational setting is preferred Strong skills in psychological assessment and intervention techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams Work details: 37.5 hours per week Onsite presence is required; remote work is not available Caseload specifics will be discussed during the interview process One position available This role provides an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student success and mental health within a supportive school community.
