Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Take the next step in your career as a School Psychologist by supporting a close-knit network of schools serving PreK-12 students in the Rimrock, AZ area. This contract opportunity is suited for driven professionals who are passionate about comprehensive mental health services and supporting educational success for all students. With collaboration at the heart of this role, you'll work alongside a second School Psychologist, ensuring a balanced caseload and opportunities to share expertise. This position offers both full-time (36-40 hours/week) and flexible part-time options, making it a great fit for a variety of availability needs. All school sites are located close together, reducing travel time between buildings during your workday. For added flexibility, one work-from-home day each week is available for focused report writing.
Ideal Qualifications & Experience:
Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist Experience or strong interest in working with students from PreK through 12th grade Skill in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on evaluations, reports, and meetings Ability to adapt to a range of student needs and educational settings Strong organizational and communication skills Commitment to upholding ethical practice standards in school psychology Open to travel and contract positions; prior experience as a travel professional is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Complete assessments and evaluations in collaboration with another School Psychologist Attend meetings with educational staff and parents to support student learning plans Prepare thorough psychological reports and recommendations Contribute to the development of individualized education programs (IEPs) Serve as a resource and advocate for student well-being Enjoy a W-2 contract arrangement, competitive compensation, and a robust benefits package including 401k options as well as insurance coverage.
