Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract A school psychologist position is available for the 2026/2027 school year in Yelm, WA. This contract role offers a hybrid work schedule, combining onsite and remote work to provide flexibility while ensuring in-person support for student assessments.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments onsite to evaluate student needs. Prepare detailed reports based on assessment findings; report writing may be completed remotely. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, with the potential to join these meetings remotely. Collaborate with school staff and families to develop effective intervention strategies and support plans.
Qualifications:
Valid certification or licensure as a school psychologist. Experience conducting assessments and preparing reports in a K-12 school setting. Strong communication skills for collaborating with students, parents, and educators. Ability to manage a hybrid work schedule effectively, balancing onsite assessment duties with remote tasks.

Yelm, WA, with a hybrid schedule requiring onsite presence specifically for assessments.
