Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact working with K-8th grade students as a School Psychologist in a contract position. This fulfilling opportunity allows you to provide support on an onsite or hybrid basis, dedicating just 6-8 hours per week during the school year from August through the end of the academic term. Your expertise will help students access the services they need to thrive academically, emotionally, and socially.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid School Psychologist certification Experience working with K-8th grade students is highly preferred Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and consultation Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication and organizational skills Open to onsite or hybrid work arrangements as needed
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological and psychoeducational assessments for students Support the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention services Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to address student needs Maintain accurate records and comply with all legal and ethical guidelines Foster a positive and inclusive environment that supports diverse learners
